Plant Based Lo Mein Noodle Sauce

Let's just call this sauce what it is... Addictive!!
This is a great week night recipe for those days when you are short on time. I often put a pot of water on the stove to boil for noodles. While I'm waiting for the water to boil, I make this sauce in the blender.
That still leaves me with time to steam some frozen veggies.
I toss the noodles with veggies, drizzle with addictive sauce, and BAM! Dinner is done.
This will make a little more than a cup of sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup Sesame seeds
  • 1/3 cup Walnuts
  • 3 tbsp Low-Sodium Tamari
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 1/3 cup Maple Syrup
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Ginger
  • 1 tsp Sriracha

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients into a high speed blender or food processor. Blend until smooth. Enjoy!
